Job Title: Inside Sales Representative

Reports to: Inside Sales Manager

We are currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative who will be responsible for meeting goals and objectives by covering all sales functions in an assigned territory. You will be responsible for forecasts, soliciting and securing orders from potential and existing customers.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

  • Call on existing accounts and new prospects in respective territory to sell Ambu products.
  • Establish a strong, trust-based working relationship with Medical Executives.
  • Create new opportunities in Strategic product accounts.
  • Manage front end stages of the sales cycle: pipeline management, forecasting, and prospecting.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the customers, prospects, and decision makers.
  • Demonstrate the ability to create and manage conversations at all business and technical levels of a client's organization.
  • Drive demand through focused telephone campaigns, email, e-blast, and other activities.
  • Maintain up to date records in CRM software program including status of opportunities, business won, and business lost. Sets tasks for easy follow up/through and enter data according to company standards.
  • Perform all directly related duties in the assigned sales territory.
  • Must attend department and company meetings that might occur outside the home office when required, including but not limited to, trade shows, National Sales and training meetings.
  • Perform written communications to correspond with clients and superiors.
  • Perform verbal communications to clients and company personnel.
  • Monthly key activity report (reps worked with, accounts, activity, results, next steps, strategic info, competitive info, needs (product, training etc.)
  • Must attend department and company meetings that might occur outside the home office when required, including but not limited to, National Sales, exhibitions and training meetings.
  • Other duties, as assigned.

Performance Criteria:

  • Manage Sales Territory and meet minimum annual growth goal.
  • Meet metrics goals of 30 + calls and 3+ hours of talk time daily.
  • Provide a consistently high level of service to clients.
  • Maintain a professional attitude at all times.
  • Maintain a strong commitment to quality at all times.

Qualifications /Experience:

  • High School Diploma required; Associates Degree preferred.
  • Minimum one (1) year of medical device experience.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly proficient computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Google Docs, CRM.
  • An understanding of Ambu's business processes, excellent communication skills and exhibit a professional presence.
